The aptly named East Woods Presbyterian Church was carefully planned and constructed in 2007. One of the underlying personality traits of this wonderful church is the peacefully wooded setting on which it is situated. Planners and builders were careful to leave a majestic canopy of mighty fir trees throughout the campus and then painstakingly included landscaping and additional trees to augment the beauty of the surrounding shaded environment. Over the ensuing years, the grounds have matured into a park-like setting that has hosted many wonderful outdoor events.
A small but mighty crew has experienced a certain amount of pride and
joy in keeping up this beautiful property and building over the years.
Its beauty has drawn a variety of dedicated men and woman to participate
in its upkeep and continues to this day.
The grounds offer a rewarding challenge to folks interested in gardening and landscaping as a way to serve our congregational community and provide a peaceful setting in this East Clark County location. And if that isn’t enough, our John Deere tractor provides an outlet for the would-be farmer in all of us!
