Frequently Asked Questions

  • Considering a visit?

It’s our pleasure to warmly welcome you into our community as an honored guest.  Our desire is for you to connect with others and to encounter the living God through engaging Christian formation opportunities for all ages, thoughtful prayer, creative worship, and inspired teaching.  We encourage you to join us either at the church, or online as we livestream here and on our Facebook page

  • When and where are your services?

We meet every Sunday for Worship at 10:00 a.m. Our worship services usually last about 75 minutes.

We meet at 16210 NE 20th Street in Vancouver, WA, near the corner of 162nd Ave and 20th Street.  There is a Chevron and Wendy's at the first major cross street of 18th.

We also livestream our service and offer recordings here on our website.

  • What Should I wear?

You may wear whatever you like (especially if you are livestreaming from home).  You will see a few coats and ties but most people prefer to dress more casually, wearing anything from shorts to khakis, from jeans to skirts. We believe God is much more concerned with our hearts than our outward appearance (Matt. 23:27-28).

  • What about my children?

We invite all children to participate in our worship. We offer Kids' Bulletins both online and on-site. We also have activity clipboards available from our greeters weekly.  Please feel comfortable doing what best meets the needs of your family. The Nursery is available* for infants through 5-year-olds. We have several areas for families if children need to step outside of the sanctuary to get their wiggles out or have some quiet time, including the Quiet Room and Kitchenside Room.

  • What is the worship service like?

Our service is neither “contemporary” nor “traditional” because God, not style, is our object of worship. Our worship seeks to be vibrantly aware and responsive to God’s presence. We sing old and new, but in an approachable way. We draw on current expressions of faith, as well as ancient prayers and creeds. No matter your age or background, our worship aims to bring us together as we give praise to our Lord.
