Pentecost sunday celebration

We're thrilled to announce a joint worship service with Unity Family Church at 10:00AM. Rev. Debora Kimbrough will deliver the message.

Special music and liturgical dance will help us celebrate the birth of the church, with a party afterward!

Be sure to wear colors of the flames - reds, oranges, yellows.

Let’s turn out to show our support for our shared Christian witness!

CEDEpCA Virtual Journey

What is God’s mission? How does God involve us? What are best practices for embodying and bearing witness to the love of Christ, especially in intercultural spaces?

Take a virtual journey on Wednesday, May 22 at 4:00PM.

No passport required!

Journey participants will listen in as Guatemalan Pastor Emerson Morales and U.S. Pastor Jennifer Hope-Tringali share with each other their wisdom and wonderings about mission.

As on any good journey, there will be time for interaction and reflection so that each person “goes home” with a renewed sense of how God is calling and sending them. Your journey will be just over an hour.

Pastor Emerson Morales is the former Coordinator for CEDEPCA’s Intercultural Encounters Program, current CEDEPCA Board Member, and Senior Pastor of “Jesús es el Camino” Pentecostal Church in Guatemala.

Pastor Jennifer Hope-Tringali is founder of Hope Academy, a bilingual STEAM school for girls in Santa Lucia Milpas Altas, Guatemala, and Senior Pastor of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas.

Both pastors bring a love for Guatemala and wealth of experience wrestling with interculturality, colonialism, and faith.

Pre-register here. You will receive a confirmation email on how to join the meeting via zoom. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about how to join the meeting.
