Youth Discipleship

Let no one despise your youth,

but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

-1Timothy 4:12

The East Woods Youth Discipleship Ministry provides a variety of opportunities for middle and high school students to learn and grow in their faith and knowledge of God, build meaningful and lasting relationships with peers and adults, and participate in service projects that transform our community and our world.

All students from 6th through 12th Grade are invited to join us to hang out, play games, and make friends as we grow and build community together. We worship God through music, and study the Bible to learn about the way of life that Jesus taught.

Youth Group

Sundays from 6:30-8:00 pm

What's all the fuss?

Youth Group is happening.  Yay!

What time should we come?

6:30 PM to 8 PM

What are we going to do?

We have a great evening planned to help our youth have fun as they build relationship with each other and their leaders.

Who should I bring with me?

Youth are encouraged to bring their friends.

What should I do next?

Talk to your friends and plan to come each Sunday night for the Alpha Series.

ALPHA SERIES

This fall our youth will experience ALPHA. The Alpha course is an evangelistic course which seeks to introduce our youth to the basics of the Christian faith through a series of talks and discussions. It is described by its organizers as "an opportunity to explore the meaning of life".

Check out the Alpha trailer.

Any youth that attends the Alpha series will be eligible for confirmation in January.  If your youth is exploring their faith and/or may want to commit to Jesus, this program will be an awesome way to guide them.
